Detail overview
Veg Pakoda
A classic and comforting Indian snack, Veg Pakoda is made by dipping an assortment of fresh vegetables — like onions, potatoes, spinach, cauliflower, or chili peppers — in a spiced gram flour (besan) batter. Flavored with ajwain (carom seeds), turmeric, chili powder, coriander, and a touch of ginger-garlic, the batter coats the vegetables perfectly. The coated veggies are then deep-fried until they’re golden brown and irresistibly crispy on the outside, while remaining soft and flavorful inside. Served piping hot with tangy mint chutney or tamarind sauce, Veg Pakoda is a popular tea-time snack and a must-have during rainy days or chilly evenings.
