Detail overview
Keema Naan
Keema Naan is a flavorful and hearty stuffed Indian flatbread filled with spiced minced meat — usually lamb, mutton, or sometimes chicken. This delicious variation of naan combines the softness and slight chewiness of traditional naan with a savory, aromatic filling that makes it a complete and satisfying dish on its own.
The naan dough, made from refined wheat flour (maida), yeast or yogurt for leavening, is rolled out and stuffed with a mixture of cooked minced meat that’s been sautéed with onions, garlic, ginger, green chilies, and a blend of spices like cumin, coriander, garam masala, and chili powder. The meat filling is richly seasoned and cooked to tender perfection.
Once stuffed, the naan is sealed, rolled again, and cooked in a tandoor (clay oven) or on a hot griddle until the bread is puffed, slightly charred, and golden brown on the outside, while the keema inside remains juicy and flavorful.
Serving Suggestion:
